The woofer is generally the largest driver in the system which covers the bass and mid-range frequency.
The low tweeter is generally the midsize driver in the system which covers the upper mid-range and low treble
The high tweeter is generally the smallest driver in the system which covers the highest frequencies.
Grill / each
The grill is the cloth and frame used to cosmetically conceal the drivers without affecting the sound. Ohm now uses black grills in almost all cases. In the past, brown and brown/black mixes were used; but every ”brown” turned out differently. Now they are all black (except on some current white speakers, we have white as an option).
The crossover is the electrical circuit that protects the tweeters from the low frequency energy that is reproduced by the main drivers. This can only fail, in rare instances, from overdriving the speakers.

L2s were the next generation of the popular Ohm Ls. They used the same components as the L but the tweeters were set in a vertical array and as mirror imaged pairs. When the systems were set up for peak performance, the stereo imaging was superb and the great bass of Ohm L2s has always been popular.
The OHM L2 upgraded woofer kits offer smoother transition to the low tweeter and use a new foam surround that is projected to last up to 30 years that will allow for more clarity on female voices. The FerroFluid cooling handles the thermo transients from CDs.
"I recently bought replacement woofers for my L2's. It had been years since I had heard hem. And maybe had forgotten what a speaker should sound like. I do have many other pairs of speakers but the L2's. They are truly amazing sounding. couldn't be more pleased with the quality of sound produce over the complete spectrum from lows to high. I have been a musician for over 30 years.
"When I play piano, I play my Steinway.
When I want power, I play my early 60's Les Paul Standard through a Marshall.
When I want clean, I play my early 60's Telecaser through a Fender.
When I want rich, I play my Gibson ES 335. With my Fender.
When I want to sit and listen to music, I play through My Ohm's.
THE WAY MUSIC SHOULD BE HEARD!!!
Thanks to all"

Note: Most Ohm upgrades require no specialized knowledge and are easily completed completed by any person. It takes less time to install your own upgrade than it does to package and return ship your speakers to the factory, therefore, we recommend you save time and money by doing this yourself. We ship the upgrade to your door with clear, easy instructions. If for any reason you prefer to have the factory complete your upgrade installation, we will be happy to do this for free, however, you will be responsible for shipping and handling costs each way.
Ohm allows up to $595 for the return of a complete pair of undamaged Ohm L2s toward 25% of the purchase price of new Ohm speakers.
